Razan Zuayter / Jordan

• She was born in Nablus, Palestine.


• She graduated from the American University in Beirut.


• She is a nature protection activist and founded the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature in 2003. This group aims to re-plant trees in Palestine that were uprooted in Palestine by the Israeli settlements. She has also been involved in projects aiming to increase greenery in Jordan and combat desertification. She is the daughter of the late lobbyist Ahram Zuayter.


• She has carried out pioneering consultation work in the field of landscape architecture in Jordan and the Arab world.

• She has participated and won a number of national and regional contests.
