Ribhi Halloum / Jordan

• He is an academic and researcher specialising in Palestinian affairs.


• He was born in the Ramallah town of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya in 1939.


• He worked as a commentator for the Voice of the Arabs and Baghdad radio stations from 1962 to 1963.


• He was a Palestinian ambassador to a number of countries over 15 years, including Brazil, Afghanistan, the UAE, Turkey, and Indonesia.


• Halloum was head of PLO's Political Department and a member of the PNC and the Fatah Revolutionary Council, until he resigned in 1991.
